Why the Lab made it
A town of 8,000 people manages more housing than it has staff to manage it with: a few flats, a caretaker's lodging, a shop on the square, a leased plot, each with its own lease, its own revision index, its own deadline. We watched a secretary run all of it from three spreadsheets and a drawer.
m2 is the tool that drawer should have been. One register. Rent revisions that compute themselves when the index moves. Deeds generated from the register instead of retyped. And a person on the phone who knows municipal property law, because a small town needs that at least as much as it needs the software.
It is sold on a monthly subscription, no minimum term, data import included. It is the second product the Lab runs for the public sector, with the same commitments as Agora: hosting in France, accessibility, and your data handed back the day you leave.
